2012 BMW 5 Series Sedan Owners Manual - For 2012, the BMW 5-Series is provided with three different engines--designated by the designs 528, 535 and 550. A 240-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder is conventional on 528 models; 535 designs get a turbocharged 3.0l six. A twin-turbo 4.4L V8 motor creating 407 horse power abilities the 550. All three designs are provided with rear-wheel or xDrive all-wheel generate. The 535 and 550 designs come with a conventional 6-speed stick shift, while the 528 is provided with a new 8-speed automated gearbox with greater super speed equipment targeted at providing greater gas mileage. The 5-Series also contains BMWs Stopping mechanism Power Regrowth program, which expenses battery power when the car is decelerating or braking, rather than operating the alternator all the time.
